Gluten Free Store
Gluten free store Gluten allergy or wheat allergy is no joke, some people could become very ill of even die if they ingest the gluten protein found in wheat products.
It is estimate that just about 1% of Americans suffer from celiac disease, which is the most severe form of gluten intolerance or sensitivity.
Gluten is the protein that is found in wheat , rye and barely products and people with the disorder cannot properly digest this gluten protein, and in sever cases the protein blocks the absorption of other vital nutrients by the body.
Oats can be added to this list too but its a bit tricky, you see many people with celiac disease can tolerate oats ok but the manufacturing process used to mill oats is usually the same equipment used in other wheat products so people were experiencing the same symptoms when oats raw oat products were consumed.
So if you can find oat product manufactured on dedicated equipment then you are usually fine. Some people have a mild to moderate sensitivity to wheat gluten and so not even realize it as the symptoms are so similar to respiratory allergy like sinusitis and asthma symptoms.
Other symptoms of gluten sensitivity is bloating, gastric distress to even rashes and eczema like skin conditions called dermatitis herpetiformis could very well be associated with gluten intolerance.
So the gluten free line of products have become more common place in the regular supermarkets not just only in specialty stores.
More and more health conscious people even those without any gluten sensitivity, are also switching to gluten free products, because most wheat based products are highly processed and refined foods that contain a lot more stuff you would want to stay away from anyway.
